LOCATION, MAP AND DIRECTIONS

LOCATION: The Big Trees Forest Preserve is located at 7645 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, GA.

As a general reference, the Big Trees Forest is located on the north side of Atlanta about 4 miles outside I-285 on Roswell Road.

DIRECTIONS: - From I-285 go NORTH on GA-400 1 1/2 miles to exit 5B (Sandy Springs Exit).

- Go west 1.3 miles on Abernathy Rd. to Roswell Rd.

- Turn right onto Roswell Rd. and go north 2.1 miles.

The Forest is on the right next to the North Fulton County Government Service Center Building (beige, two story building).

Park in the south parking lot. Entrance to the Forest is on a paved, wheel chair accessible walkway next to the Big Trees Forest Preserve sign on the south end of the parking lot.

- Going SOUTH on GA-400 take Exit 5 onto Abernathy Rd.

- Turn right onto Abernathy and follow the above instructions.

There is free parking and free admission. The Forest is open sunrise to sunset.

MARTA - Take the Marta train to the Medical Center Station on the North Line. Then take Bus 85 to the bus stop in front of the Annex Building at 7741 Roswell Road, next to Big Trees Forest Preserve.
